Join us for our Main Downtown Beautification Work Day

“One Building at a Time” efforts in Downtown Emmett!

Saturday, May 30

MEET AT BLASER PARK AT 8:00 AM

This community work day will focus on scraping, prep work, painting, cleanup, and exterior facelifts to two selected downtown storefront properties as we work together to create visible momentum in our historic downtown.

We’re inviting downtown business owners, community members, volunteers, families, and anyone willing to lend a helping hand to come participate. No special skills are needed — just show up ready to help!

  • Scraping & prep work

  • Painting storefront exteriors

  • Cleanup & beautification

  • Downtown facelift projects

We’re also encouraging ALL downtown businesses to join in on May 30 by helping refresh Downtown Emmett for the summer season in whatever way they can — whether that means putting out flowers, freshening up storefronts, cleaning windows, touching up paint, decorating patios, or simply helping make downtown shine heading into summer.

We will have supplies available. Please wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. If you have a ladder you can bring, we would greatly appreciate it!

Together, we can continue building pride, momentum, and positive change in Downtown Emmett — one building at a time.

Hosted by DERT & the Gem Community Economic Development Foundation.
